
_______________________________________The 2010 Capstone Design Conference will have a primary theme of capstone pedagogy and a new frontier theme of international teams and projects. The meeting is scheduled to begin after lunch on Monday June 7th and end in the early afternoon on Wednesday June 9th.
The main body of the conference will include keynote talks, panel sessions and an interactive poster session. All papers accepted to the conference will be presented during the interactive poster session and will be published in the conference proceedings. Some speakers will be selected to participate in topical panel sessions.
Working groups will be formed to address specific topics that are of concern to the capstone community and to develop resources relevant to the topic. These working groups will meet during the capstone conference. All attendees are invited to participate in these working groups.
Tutorial format short courses will be held on the Monday morning prior to the beginning of the conference. These tutorials will be presented by leaders in the capstone community and will address topics relvant to capstone educators. These tutorials are and excellent resource for those who are new to the capstone community.
New this year is a student showcase. A call for participation will be available December 1, 2009. The showcase will provide an opportunity for student teams to showcase outstanding projects at the conference.
